The Guernsey FC media team will have their work cut out on Sunday with not one, not two but three matches to cover across the men's and women's teams - including two matches kicking off at the same time.

Tony Vance's Green Lions, still led by Steve Sharman and Kevin Gilligan, host Isthmian South Central table proppers Badshot Lea in an important clash that could have a big say in the Sarnians' survival chances. The postponement of Wednesday's home meeting with Horndean means GFC will remain in the bottom four even with a win, but will likely be just a point or so from safety with games in hand.

Badshot are 13 points from safety but have signed two players this week in a bid to change their fortunes. Guernsey are actually seeking a first win over the Baggies, having drawn twice with them in our Combined Counties days and lost twice last season, inlcuding a 3-1 defeat at Footes Lane. They are yet to lose in three visits to the Channel Islands having also picked up a result in Jersey a couple of seasons ago.

Guernsey are finding a bit of form with only one defeat in their last five. Having been missing a few players for the well-earned draw at Southall last weekend, there should be the boost of a few players being available again.

Moving across the Channel Islands, Anna Gauvain's Green Lionsesses have another double header, starting with Sports Club of Jersey on Sunday morning at 11am. It is a repeat of the first game of the last double header. GFCW won that one 12-1, and went on to beat Rozel Rovers 8-2 in the afternoon. This time, their afternoon fixture is with Jersey Wanderers, who Guernsey beat 4-1 in the last meeting. With two wins, the Sarnians could be up to 12 points clear at the top of the JFA Women's Combination, depending on the result between St Peter and Rozel Rovers, which is third versus second.

To keep fresh legs across the two games, Gauvain has selected 20 players to travel, including one potential debutant in Kellie Creed. The full travelling squad is as follows:

Emma Queripel
Scarlett Gallagher
Scarlett Kenneally
Jess Parsons-Page
Kellie Creed
Mollie Watson
Aimee Ogier
Vicki Rang
Amy Dallamore
Emily McCartney
Eleanor Jamieson
Elise Le Lacheur
