It's another double-header weekend for Guernsey with the men's side in action on Saturday and the women's side heading to Jersey for the final time in the league this season on Sunday.

Tony Vance's Green Lions, still being steered by Steve Sharman and Kevin Gilligan, could end the weekend outside the relegation zone for the first time since September if they pick up three points at Westfield and other results go their way.

The Green Lions are aiming to continue their unbeaten start to 2025 and put aside the frustration of a win being taken away from them in the 10th minute of added on time last Sunday.

Our Woking Park hosts are without a win since November, a run of seven games, after an initial strong start to the season. They are looking to move back into the top half. Manolis Gogonas is the dangerman to watch out for with four goals in his last five games.

The Sarnians will be without the experienced Matt Loaring as a result of his fractured eye socket and cheekbone sustained against Badshot Lea last week that will keep him out for some time. Ben Acey will still be out a couple more weeks after pulling his hamstring against Sutton Common Rovers on New Year's Day, while Jacques Cauvin is away. Goalkeeper Josh Addison will also miss a few games with a foot injury picked up in the first half against Badshot, so Seb Sheppard is likely to deputise between the sticks.

Sam Murray is chasing his 30th goal for the club that would take him clear of Craig Young in the overall standings. He actually gave GFC a late lead in this fixture last season but there was a late turnaround to keep the Yella's promotion bid on track. They did make the play-offs but lost their semi-final to Marlow in extra time.

Saturday's match kicks off at 1pm. Fans not making the journey to Woking Park can watch the game live in full on our YouTube channel - look out for the link posted on our social media - or listen to live commentary on our @GuernseyFC X Space, as well as the usual social media updates. GFCTV highlights will be available post-match on our YouTube and social media channels with a full match report on the website.

Anna Gauvain's Green Lionesses could take a big step forward in their JFA Women's Combination title bid. They face their nearest rivals Rozel Rovers and could go 12 points clear (having played two games more) at the top ahead of a run of four home fixtures in March that will hopefully secure the league trophy in front of their own supporters.

It's a familiar looking squad that travels looking to add to their 50 goals in just seven league games this season: Emma Queripel, Scarlett Kenneally, Scarlett Gallagher, Aimee Ogier, Vicki Rang, Heather Smith, Jess Parsons-Page, Elise Le Lacheur, Amy Dallamore, Candice Bougourd, Donna Gallienne, Chloe Ingrouille, Codie Le Flem, Adrienne Leech, Calleigh Hedley.

We will be posting updates from this fixture on our social media channels.
