Guernsey could have a new debutant on Tuesday with 19-year-old Seb Vance included in the squad heading to Binfield - if the pitch at Hill Farm Lane holds up to the anticipated rain.

Vance, son of head coach Tony, is selected for a competitive game for the first time and if he plays, will be the 104th player to represent the Green Lions.

His inclusion certainly bring the average age of the squad down for the trip to Berkshire, while Vance replacing veteran Dave Merris, while teenager Brandon Wallace also travels again.

Josh Addison gets the nod in goal and so will edge past Jason Martin for appearances in the GFC goal this season. Tyler McKane also gets a recall to boost the Sarnians defensive options, with Joe Alvarez being forced off with a knock on Saturday. He joins Will Fazakerley, Ross Allen and Charlton Gauvain on the injury list.

The full squad is as follows: Addison, Marsh, McKane, Vaudin, Fallaize, Dodd, Dodds, Vance, K Mahon, L Mahon, Loaring, Wallace, Hale, Murray, Domaille.

Nothing but a win would move the Green Lions up the table. If they did so, they would end the night in 15th in Isthmian South Central. Binfield are at the lower end of congested battle for the play-offs, but their games in hand mean they could realistically eye second place in the next couple of weeks. Their form has stuttered of late, with their win over Bedfont Sports at the weekend their first in five league games.

A debut goal for Keene Domaille earned an inexperienced Guernsey side a point in this fixture last season, following a fesity encounter at Footes Lane that saw the Moles win 3-1.

Tuesday night's game kicks off at 7.45pm. Fans unable to make it to Hill Farm Lane can follow live coverage on GFCTV. Details on the pay-per-view service for GFCTV can be found . Highlights and a full match report will be on the website after the game.

Travelling fans are advised to keep an eye on social media for updates due to the rain forecast during the day on Tuesday.
