The return of Charlton Gauvain is hopefully a sign that Guernsey's luck is turning ahead of their trip to Hanworth Villa on Saturday afternoon.

Gauvain completed a two-match ban for a disputed red card against South Park back in August and was then away, and the Green Lions have missed his creativity.

Dave Rihoy is set to go clear of Dom Heaume in the club's all-time appearance list in clocking up his 271st outing. Kieran Mahon is unavailable, while Ross Allen and Tom Dodds are working their way back to fitness.

The full squad is as follows: Addison, Hainsworth, Vaudin, Dodd, Alvarez, Merris, Vance, Black, Rihoy, Gauvain, Loaring, Wallbridge, Domaille, Murray.

Guernsey equalled their worst ever run of defeats thanks to conceding against Ashford Town in the last minute, so their task now is to avoid setting a new unwanted record.

Hanworth have started their league campaign with three wins, two draws and three defeats, leaving them comfortably in midtable. The pair have two wins each from their four meetings, with an already safe GFC losing 3-0 at Rectory Meadow in their last encounter towards the end of last season.

The pitch was passed fit by a referee on Friday evening, but fans are still advised to keep an eye on our social media in case Storm Babet, currently affecting the UK, begins to have more of an effect on the south of England.

Saturday's game at Rectory Meadow kicks off at 2.30pm. Fans unable to make it to Rectory Meadow can keep up to date on our social media channels. A match report and GFCTV highlights will follow.
