Guernsey gained vital minutes ahead of their delayed start to their Isthmian League South Central campaign this weekend, as they ran out 5-2 winners over Priaulx League side St Martin's on Sunday.

Ross Allen helped himself to a hat-trick and Seb Skillen tucked in from close range, while veteran midfielder Ryan-Zico Black scored the pick of the punch with a delightful finish from outside the area.

There were vital minutes in the tank for many of Tony Vance's squad, including some new faces as he gears up to pick his first group to travel for next weekend's opener.

Thanks very much to Saints for hosting the game.
