Guernsey continue their fight against relegation on Sunday as Southall visit Victoria Park and we want to see another packed-out ground to cheer the lads on.

Five points from their last three games have given the Green Lions a fighting chance having narrowed the gap to safety from seven points to four. A win could see the Green Lions climb one place to 21st if Ashford Town fail to beat Moneyfields on Saturday. No doubt fans will be keeping an ear out on Saturday for how Metropolitan Police are getting on against Badshot Lea, how Horndean are faring againts Hartley Wintney and how South Park's trip to Rayners Lane is going.

Both teams will also be vying to be the first winners of a GFC game at Victoria Park.

Niall Hainsworth is missing for the remainder of the season but otherwise Tony Vance's side has a clean bill of health from the win over Badshot Lea last week that kept their survival hopes alive. Ross Allen is looking to score for the fifth game in a row, something he hasn't managed since the 2015-16 season.

Southall's win over Raynes Park Vale last weekend made them mathematically safe from relegation so Guernsey will have to be wary of the fact that they will be able to play risk-free football and can play with nothing to lose. They have won two of their last three, while top scorer Brendan Matthew has previous with the Green Lions with goals against them for Ascot United.

It is also Legends Day at Victoria Park, with all former GFC players, officials and volunteers invited to attend for free, so it promises to be a great atmosphere all round.

Sunday's match kicks off at 2pm. Fans unable to make it to Victoria Park can listen to full live commentary on our @GuernseyFC X Space and follow our usual social media updates. A full match report will follow on the website.

Victoria Avenue will be closed to public traffic from 1pm until half an hour after the final whistle. Gates open at 12.30pm and fans are encouraged to come early and enjoy the pre-match build-up. Limited parking is available at the ground on a first come, first served basis BEFORE 1pm. There are more than 100 bicycle parking spaces for active travel, and we also encourag car sharing to help reduce congestion.
