Guernsey face a tough task against Isthmian South Central's form team this weekend as they make a first trip to Moneyfields in a bid to exit the relegation zone again.

The Moneys have won their last seven games to shoot up the table from a relegation battle into a play-off chase and they have been scoring goals for fun - they are now the fourth highest scorers in the division.

Shortly before that run, they put five past the Green Lions at Footes Lane in a scarcely believable end that saw them turn around a defeat into a 5-4 victory with goals in the 90th and 97th minutes. That is the only meeting between the two sides so far. They were in a similar position against Sutton Common Rovers three weeks later, winning it in stoppage time despite trailing late in the game.

The Green Lions meanwhile had their unbeaten start to 2025 wrecked by a 5-0 defeat at relegation-battling rivals Ashford Town. Dave Merris and Tom Vaudin are available again but Jacques Cauvin is still away. We could go 17th with a win.

Moneyfields are based in Portsmouth and are in the league having won the Wessex Premier Division last season.

Saturday's match kicks off at 2pm.
