Guernsey's quest to get themselves out of relegation bother continues with a trip to bottom-half Metropolitan Police on Saturday afternoon.

While three points would not take the Green Lions out of the relegation zone, it would put them in touching distance of the teams above them and bring them just three points behind their opponents, keeping them in the mix.

The Green Lions have shown positive signs in their performances in their last few outings despite not picking up a win for a month.

Ross Allen is still eyeing up 300 goals for the club and would achieve it with a brace on Saturday. Matt Loaring is set to move just one game shy 400 for the club.

Met Police got their first win in six league games as they beat Ashford Town last weekend. A win could take them right up into midtable, depending on goal difference.

Last season was the first time the pair met, with Met Police earning a late equaliser at Footes Lane in a 1-1 draw after Guernsey had failed to kill the game off, then the Blues and Twos cancelled out Charlton Gauvain's first-half strike to win 2-1 at Imber Court in February.

Saturday's match kicks off at 2pm. Fans not travelling to Imber Court can watch our GFCTV coverage for the first half on our Facebook page, or listen to the full game audio-only on our @GuernseyFC Twitter Space. GFCTV highlights will be uploaded to our social media and YouTube channels, with a full match report on the website.
