Sixteenth place and a 10-point gap on the relegation zone is the prize for Guernsey as Chipstead visit Footes Lane on Wednesday night.
Chipstead sit just one place above 19th-placed Green Lions with a one point advantage, but have a game in hand so Tony Vance's side really need the victory to prevent the Chips pulling clear.
Dave Merris serves his one-match suspension, while Tom Dodds serves the last of his three-game ban. Tom Vaudin is a welcome boost to the backline as he returns to contention after illness, but Niall Hainsworth will sit out again as he recovers from injury, as does forward Sam Murray.
The chase is on between Matt Loaring and Ross Allen to reach their respecitive milstones first. Loaring is seven goals off becoming only the second GFC player to reach a century of goals, while Allen needs 10 more for a surely unpassable 300. Both will feel their targets are achievable before the end of the season given their recent form in front of goal.
The postponement on Saturday, when the Sarnians were due to play Marlow, could turn out to be a blessing in disguise, with several players needing the rest amidst a busy schedule.
Chipstead started the season well but are currently on a barren run of 13 games without a win stretching back to October. The Surrey side could also end the night in 16th.
They beat the Green Lions 4-1 in the return fixture (Joe Alvarez scored for GFC), while their last visit to Footes Lane in March last season ended in a 2-2 draw, with Loaring and Allen getting the goals for the hosts.
Guernsey have beaten Chipstead eight times in 15 meetings, more than against against any other side. There were also two draws and five wins for the Chips.
