Guernsey will face six brand new opponents in the 2024-25 season, with the Isthmian League annoucing the teams for its respective divisions.

The league is increasing to 22 teams, and the Green Lions expanded fixture list will include Harrow Borough (relegated from the Southern Premier League South Division), Horndean (moved from Isthmian South East Division), Moneyfields (promoted from the Wessex Premier League), and Rayners Lane (promoted from the Combined Counties Premier Division North.

The two most eye-catching names of these six new teams are Hayes & Yeading (relegated from the Southern Premier League South Division), who were formed from the merger of Hayes FC and Yeading FC - the latter of the two may be remembered from reaching the third round of the FA Cup in 2005, where they were knocked out by Newcastle United - and Kingstonian (relegated from the Isthmian Premier Division), who were playing as high as the Conference (now National League, one below the Football League) around the turn of the century.

Another notable addition to the league are old friends Farnham Town, who we faced three times in the Combined Counties Premier in 2012-13, in the early rounds of our FA Vase run and twice in the league - the most memorable being beating them 1-0 in the fourth and final game of that mammoth final weekend of four games in four days to confirm promotion. Now with heavy financial backing, the won the Combined Counties Premier Division South at a canter last season, amassing and amazing 108 points in an unbeaten season where they only failed to win three times, and will be looking to move straight through to the Premier Division.

As well as those promoted (Chertsey Town and Marlow) and relegated (Corinthian-Casuals and Chipstead), we also say goodbye for now to Northwood and Thatcham Town, who have been moved sideways into other Step 4 League.
