Guernsey head into another huge game in their relegation battle on Saturday as Chipstead come to Footes Lane.

The Green Lions are searching for 200th win in their short history and it would be a massive step towards survival as they creep towards the 40-point mark.

Tony Vance has recalled a refreshed Ross Allen and Matt Loaring back to the squad after they had a much needed rest for the game against Uxbridge last Saturday, from which the Sarnians took a useful point.

Recent returnees from injury Charlton Gauvain and Will Fazakerley (the latter of which scored from his own half in tomorrow's reverse fixture in October) keep their places in an attack-heavy squad.

The full list is as follows: Addison, Marsh, Vaudin, Fallaize, Alvarez, Dodds, Merris, L Mahon, Loaring, Gauvain, Wallace, Hale, Allen, Domaille, Fazakerley, Murray.

Guernsey's draw at Uxbridge steadied the ship after the Merstham defeat and GFC have only lost once in their last six.

The Chips' win in midweek means the Green Lions can only close the gap between the two to three points rather than draw level. They have also picked up vital results against Northwood, Thatcham Town and Marlow in the last few weeks that have kept the threat of relegation at arms length and got them to 40 points which should just be enough to keep those worries at bay.

Loaring's penalty preceded Fazakerley's wonderstrike in October as the Green Lions won 2-1 at High Road. Fazakerley has actually scored in his last two appearances against Chipstead, having bagged in this fixture last season, an exciting 3-3 draw that also saw a strike from Keene Domaille and a debut goal for Tim Ap Sion.

The eight wins Guernsey have earned in the 13 previous meetings between the two sides is the most they have achieved against any team they have played. Chipstead have won four.
