Defender Frank Tobin returns to the Guernsey squad in one of several changes to Tony Vance’s group to travel to Uxbridge on Saturday.

Tyler McKane could make his first appearances of the season having recovered from an ACL injury, while Seb Skillen also gets his first call-up of the campaign.

They replace the injured Keanu Marsh and unavailable Tom Strawbridge and 300-game man Matt Loaring.

The full 15-man squad is as follows: Addison, McKane, Tobin, Le Tocq, Dodds, Martin, K Mahon, L Mahon, Skillen, Gauvain, Acey, Canha, Allen, Smith, Legg.

This will be a first visit to Honeycroft, just a stone’s throw from Heathrow Airport, and Uxbridge will be the 97th different opponent for the Green Lions.

They pose another tough test as they are second in Isthmian South Central with eight wins out of 11 and are looking to hunt down GFC’s most recent conquerors Bracknell Town at the top. Anthony Mendy is second-top scorer in the league with 12 strikes, and 16 in all competitions.

The Sarnians, who are making just their second away trip  are without a win in four but a win against the odds could take them as high as 12th.

Saturday’s match kicks off at 12.45pm. Fans back in Guernsey can watch full live coverage on GFCTV, with highlights and a match report to follow over the weekend.
