Guernsey FC are delighted to be supporting the #StayConnected appeal by donating their iPads and iPhones to Home-Start Guernsey.

The devices were delivered by the team at Swoffers.

Caroline Sauvarin, Senior Co-ordinator at Home Start explains how the devices will be put to fantastic use: They will be provided to families who currently have no access to devices or wifi within the family home. This will support the regular contact our families have with their volunteers. It will also enable children to access school materials and resources online and to stay connected with their friends and family. We are finding this a key part of the project's commitment to supporting mental health and wellbeing.

Guernsey FC Communications Director Nic Legg explains why the Green Lions were quick to get involved: Through our partnership with Guernsey Mind we are committed to projects that improve islanders’ mental wellbeing. We were delighted to donate towards the #StayConnected appeal - a great initiative that’s come out of a difficult time. Let’s hope that thanks to the spirit of Guernsey Together many islanders will be better connected henceforth for years to come!

"We also look forward to welcoming members of the Home Start community to a game next season through our Aspire Corporate Services Limited Youth Zone partnership.

#StayConnected is run by We All Matter, Eh? (GDA) in partnership with Association of Guernsey Charities and many other local charities, groups and businesses.
