It's a big Sunday in the Isthmian South Central survival battle as Guernsey welcome Rayners Lane to Footes Lane for the first time.
The Green Lions can move six points behind their opponents with a win, with two games in hand. However, there is more to the story on Sunday with Ashford Town hosting South Park. GFC need to better South Park's result with a big enough goal difference swing to overtake them, having dropped back into the relegation zone thanks to their last two away trips being postponed. Metropolitan Police would also be overhauled if Guernsey can pick up three points. We could end the weekend anywhere between 17th and 20th but the message is simple - a win takes us out the drop zone.
Josh Addison is available again after injury, and captain Jamie Dodd could also feature. Ross Allen and Sam Murray are both racing to become the first player to hit double figures this season. Matt Loaring and Owen Wallbridge remain sidelined with injury.
Rayners Lane are winless in five matches, and Guernsey will be keen to pick something up having lost to a late goal in the reverse fixture after Ben Acey and Matt Loaring initially having brought them back level from 2-0 down. Frank Keita is the main to watch in the Lane's front line, leading the club's scoring charts with 22 goals in all competitions this campaign.
Sunday's match kicks off at 2pm. Fans unable to make it to Footes Lane can listen to full live commentary on our @GuernseyFC X Space and keep up with our social media updates. GFCTV highlights will be uploaded to our YouTube and social media channels after the game, with a full match report on the website.
