Guernsey FC's victorious U21 Muratti heroes all receive a recall to Tony Vance's side as the Green Lions head to high-flying Southall on Saturday.
Jack Griffin and Keene Domaille scored the goals as the GFA U21s reclaimed the Ambassadeur Bowl with a 2-1 victory over Jersey last Sunday, with Seb Vance skippering the side and Owen Wallbridge and Brandon Wallace also making key contributions.
They all come back into the GFC squad having been rested for the Corinthian-Casuals game the day before. They replace Jamie Dodd, Matt Loaring and Kieran Mahon. Dodds is set to move clear of former club captain Sam Cochrane onto 187 appearances for the club. It is still too early for Jacob Fallaize, who is edging back towards full fitness.
The full travelling squad is as follows: Addison, Hainsworth, Vaudin, Merris, Dodds, Vance, Black, Rihoy, Gauvain, Wallace, Wallbridge, Griffin, Domaille, Murray.
Southall are very much in the promotion mix, sitting in second just a point off leaders Raynes Park Vale. They are undefeated in 11 games since an opening-day reverse to Leatherhead and forward Jaden Thompson-Brissett is the leagues top scorer with 15 goals, including one hat-trick and a five-goal haul against Corinthian-Casuals at the end of October.
GFC are still chasing a first win since August, and are reeling having failed to beat fellow strugglers Metropolitan Police and Corinthian-Casuals at home in recent weeks. Still, a win against the odds would likely take them out of the relegation zone.
Last season was Southall's first at this level, and they finished comfortably in midtable. A 3-0 win on the mainland early last campaign was avenged by the Sarnians at Footes Lane in March, with Jacob Fallaize, Charlton Gauvain, Sam Murray and Will Fazakerley all registering in a 4-1 win.
Saturday's match kicks off at 1pm. Fans unable to make it to the 1878 Stadium (home of Burnham FC) can watch full live GFCTV coverage on our Facebook page. A full match report on the website, as well as highlights on Facebook and YouTube will follow.
