Guernsey FC will move leagues as part of the National League System (NLS) restructure announced on Tuesday. Next season we will be playing in the Isthmian League Division One South Central.
The Green Lions were previously in Division One South East, having been there due to a previous reshuffle that saw them moved from Division One South.
We are relishing the new challenge and looking forward to welcoming new clubs to Guernsey, as well as some familiar faces.
We will be reunited with South Park, (having faced them in both the Combined Counties Premier Division and Isthmian D1 South), Tooting & Mitcham United (who were promoted to the Isthmian Premier but were allocated to the South Central Division after relegation), Chipstead (former D1 South opponents who were moved to South Central), Westfield (whom we beat twice in our debut season in Combined Counties Division One) and Bedfont Sports (who were tough opponents in both Combined Counties Division One and the Premier Division), while Whyteleafe join us in being moved from the South East Division.
Also back on the fixture list is Northwood, who knocked us out of the FA Trophy on penalties in 2015. A full list of teams in Isthmian League South Central for 2021-22 can be found below.
Good luck to all our friends who we are leaving behind. We will miss you.
The season is due to begin on August 14th. We can’t wait to finally see our fans back at Footes Lane!
