Colin Fallaize

Coaching Staff

Assistant coach and fitness & conditioning expert 'Big Fal' is something of a Guernsey legend. Hugely experienced and respected as both a player and coach with a glittering CV within local football to back it up.

He has been involved with Guernsey football and has played a lead role in its development for many years. Has an incredible Coaching record when it comes to the International Island Games, whereby for all 4 tournaments he has been involved in, the team has returned with a medal, 2 of which were Gold.

Mr Motivator, Fal' demands 110% for every training session and each match. Guaranteed to get the best out of every player under his wing or woe betide them.

Alongside Tony Vance, Colin played a key role in the Island's successful FA National League Systems cup run last year and was proud to represent England as part of the coaching team in the UEFA Regions Cup in Croatia.

He has previously been named coach of the year in Guernsey and was inducted into the Guernsey Sports Commission coaching roll of honour in January 2016.
In his time as a player, Fal was a Guernsey regular, holder of 19 caps and scoring numerous times as a fearsome striker.

Fal was awarded the MBE in 2005 for his services to the Guernsey community and was the driving force behind many long distance charity rowing events, which raised over £250K for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

He worked in the fitness industry for around 35 years and ran his own gym - The Fitness Factory - which many of the players were members of before he took a step back.
