Josh Addison

Goalkeeper who made his debut against Chatham Town at Footes Lane in September 2016 due to the absence of Chris Tardif.

Before this season, Addison last played for the Green Lions in the league in December 2019, a 2-0 defeat to Whitstable Town. His only other appearance in addition to 2016-17, when he played 18 times, was a 4-2 win over East Grinstead Town in August 2017 prior to the arrival of Callum Stanton.

Addison was Guernsey FC's hero in September 2020, scoring and saving in the shootout as the Green Lions beat FC Isle of Man 5-4 on penalties to win the inagural Skipton Cup.

Addison replaced Bristol City loanee James Walker, who could not play due to concussion protocols in the squad to face Northwood at Footes Lane. In Guernsey's third game of the 2021/22 season Addison kept a clean sheet on his 24th appearance for the club moving him ahead of Paul de Garis as the club’s third-highest appearing goalkeeper, behind only Chris Tardif and Callum Stanton.
