105Guernsey’s suffered an opening day defeat for the first time after a second-half collapse against Chipstead.
It looked so promising when Dom Heaume’s excellent finish gave them a half-time lead, but the Green Lions got drawn into a scrap in the second half and shipped three goals to Kofi Quartey (twice) and Dan Moody.
It was, however, pleasing to see Craig Young back with the Green Lions after he committed to making the step up from the Priaulx League once again.
