Just over a week on from his horror injury, we’re pleased to share a positive update on Simon Geall.
After spending some time back home, Si returned to the UK for reconstructive surgery this afternoon, which has gone well. The bleed on his brain is stable and he is now firmly on the road to recovery.
Si and his family have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support they’ve received over the past week. Hundreds of messages and well wishes have come their way, showing that typical Guernsey community spirit.
They would like to send their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out, sent a message or simply had Si in their thoughts.
Si will now return home to continue his recovery.
