Fans following the Green Lions’ Boxing Day trip to Tooting & Mitcham United would have noticed Ben Acey’s name on the team sheet.
The teenager has rejoined Guernsey on loan from Bristol City for a period of one month to help out a GFC squad stretched to its limit by injuries and illness.
Acey was one of last season’s success stories, bringing creativity to the Sarnian’s midfield in his debut season and scoring four goals in 27 apperances.
Along with fellow Guernsey teenager Tim Ap Sion, Acey was signed to Football League Championship side Bristol City’s academy in the summer, and has been improving his craft in a professional environment.
We look forward to having Ben help us out over the next month as we look to put points in the board to move the team away from the relegation zone.
