Guernsey will chalk up another milestone when they host their 200th league game at Footes Lane on Wednesday evening.
Chipstead are the visitors, and the Green Lions could mark the occasion with another benchmark as they could also earn their 100th home win in the league.
Charlton Gauvain is back in the squad after injury, as is Keanu Marsh, but Tom Jackson is still ill and Kierhan Mahon serves the second match of his suspension. Ross Allen gets a well-deserved rest, while Thomas Dodds sustained an ankle injury in a strong challenge in the closing stages on Saturday’s game and also misses out. Liam Mahon has been taken unwell, so Tim Ap Sion comes into the squad and could make his debut from the bench.

GFC’s narrow win over Chalfont St Peter on Saturday was their first in six. They cannot move up the Isthmian South Central table this week, but a win would put them within one point of Ashford Town, two of Northwood and three of Chipstead, setting up an exciting race for a top-half finish with three games to go.
Vance’s side have had a bit of an issue with midweek home games. They have lost four and drawn one of their last five Wednesday night outings at Footes Lane and have struggled to put in decent performances, so the home fans will be hoping to see an improved display under the lights.
The Chips have had a bit of a resurgence since this fixture was originally postponed in February, winning four and drawing three of their matches since then. Andy Kabuikusomo has offset the loss of Tom Collins to Hanwell Town with 16 goals, including seven in his last seven games.
The two sides last met back in October, where a still ‘undercooked’ Green Lions were beaten 3-0 in just their second game of the season. We have won the lion’s share of the 10 meetings with seven victories to Chipstead’s three. The Surrey side are yet to win at Footes Lane.
