Guernsey conceded more in a competitive game than they have have before as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 6-2 scoreline at Horsham.

Despite a goal from Dave Rihoy and a promising first-half performance, the Green Lions found themselves 3-1 behind, which became 4-1 after the break.

Jamie Dodd gave Tony Vance’s side a lifeline late on in a poor second half from the visitors, but the Sarnians managed to concede twice further in the dying minutes.

GFC have now won just once in eight games and have lost a bit of ground on the play-offs, but now have four straight home games to put things right.
