Guernsey almost snatched a late point from 2-0 down in a dramatic second half in Kent.

After the Ramsage had two very legitimate penalty shouts turned down, Sam Cochrane miskicked a clearance into his own net towards the end of the first half, with James Everitt doubling the lead for the hosts after the break.

Ross Allen wasted the chance to haul his side back into the game from the penalty spot but made amends by hitting a pinpoint free-kick into a corner.

The hosts then had a spotkick of their own, a tame effort that was saved by Tom Creed to keep his side in the contest, and Dave Rihoy almost snatched a point with virtually the last kick of the game as he volleyed a floated free-kick into the side netting.

Rhys Jordan came off the bench for his first appearance since returning to Guernsey from his spell with Bristol City.
