1,008After four tricky away games, Guernsey were pleased to return to Footes Lane, where more than 1,000 people roared them on to a vital three points against Faversham Town.
Luke Winch, his first goal since returning to the squad, and Dave Rihoy put the Green Lions in control and although Brendan Cass pulled one back for the visitors, they were unable to find an equaliser.
The win, couple with results elsewhere, mean the Sarnians require just a point on Bank Holiday Monday at Walton Casuals to be sure of a play-off place.
