The Green Lions didn’t make it easy for themselves as Ryan-Zico Black’s excellent free-kick was cancelled out by a quickfire brace from Gabriel Odunaike.
Marc McGrath missed the chance to level it up from the spot but his effort was saved. Substitute Dom Heaume marked his return from injury with a vital goal with two minutes to go that gives Tony Vance’s side breathing space with a game to spare and their fixture against Folkestone Invicta next weekend will be a dress rehearsal for the semi-final.
