762Guernsey produced one of their famous late comebacks to rescue a point at home to Whitstable Town on Saturday.
Ian Pulman gave the visitors the lead with a first-half penalty before Kane Rowland doubled the advantage with 18 minutes to go.
It looked like that would put the game beyond the Green Lions’ reach but Glyn Dyer pulled one back six minutes later before Craig Young rescued a point with 10 minutes remaining when his shot from distance crept into the corner just out of the goalkeeper’s reach, his first goal since his return to the squad.
The Green Lions almost conceded a late winner as Whitstable had an effort cleared off the line in stoppage-time.
