Guernsey FC Women return home for the first time in a month buoyed by three strong performances on the road.
That included a draw against the odds, a late undeserved defeat and, most recently turning an early 2-0 deficit at Bursledon into a relentless 10-2 hammering.
The Green Lionesses will need all the good vibes they can get as they welcome league leaders Havant & Waterlooville to Victoria Park. Havant have won all three of their league games so far. Anna Gauvain’s side could move up to second with a win depending on other results, two points behind the Hampshire side albeit with an extra game on the board.
The Sarnians remain unbeaten from the two meetings last year, grinding out a 0-0 away from home before goals from Candice Bougourd and Heidi Dawber gave them a 2-1 win in Guernsey in March.
Alana Hockey, Elenista Lambrou and Adrienne Leech all come back into the squad after missing the Bursledon win. The full squad is as follows: Alana Hockey, Scarlett Kenneally, Elenista Lambrou, Zakiyya Qasim, Mollie Watson, Aimee Ogier, Candice Bougourd, Donna Gallienne, Eryn James, Amy Dallamore, Elise Le Lacheur, Adrienne Leech, Codie Le Flem, Calleigh Hedley, Ruby Smith.
Sunday’s match kicks off at 2pm. Supporters unable to make it to Victoria Park can keep up to date with our social media updates. A full match report will follow.
