We are proud to present the first ever Guernsey FC Women’s squad as the Green Lionesses jet off to take on Corinthian-Casuals Women on Friday night in the Isthmian League Cup.
As well as many players who represented the island in the first Woman’s Muratti in May, and who represented the Sarnians in the Islands Games in July, a few experienced players have returned to the fold, including Vicki Rang.
The squad includes youngsters Emily and Gracia who have impressed in training.
Candice Bougourd will captain the side, which is led by head coach Anna Gauvain, assisted by Katie Watson (also listed as a player) and Scott Ferbrache. Mandy Le Messurier is on medical duties. Forward Calleigh Hedley, who scored in the Muratti and the Island Games, is the notable absentee as she is unavailable.

Corinthian-Casuals play in the Greater London Women’s Football League Division 2 South & Central. They are third after three wins and two defeats in their opening five games.
