As many of you will know, over the last ten years all profits from the bar at Footes Lane have gone to the Rugby Club.
Here at Guernsey FC we are constantly looking at ways to increase revenue to ensure the future viability and success of the club, thereby enabling us to continue to provide opportunities to our island’s footballers and deliver the best possible product for our valued fan base.
On Saturday, join us for a pre-match drink at the Hockey Club, which will be open from 1pm – an hour before kick-off! At full time, why not enjoy a post-match get-together with the players and volunteers to discuss the game over a drink or two back at the Hockey Club?
A share of the profits will be coming directly back to GFC, helping us to offset the significant costs involved in running the football club, thanks to this new arrangement with our friends at the Hockey Club.
Just like when you buy from the GFC Tuck Shop or burger stand, now at last you can enjoy each sip knowing that your post-match refreshment will be helping the club.
We hope many of you will make the short walk to support your club. You’ll just need to retain your ticket (or season ticket card once they are issued) to show as you enter, seeing as this special venue arrangement is for our bona fide Green Lions fans. We can’t wait to catch up over a drink or two, it’s been a while eh!
