Everyone at Guernsey Football Club was devastated to learn that former midfielder Scott Bradford passed away last week, aged 40.
Scott made 37 appearances for Guernsey FC between 2011 and 2013, and played a major part in the club's back-to-back promotions that saw the Green Lions rise from the Combined Counties League Division One to the Isthmian League South Division.
The second of those seasons also saw a memorable FA Vase run, and perhaps Scott's finest game in a GFC shirt came in the quarter-final replay against Walsall Wood at Footes Lane, where his classy midfield performance contributed to a 3-1 win.
He pulled on a green shirt again as recently as last December when he featured for the 'GFC Originals' against the new generation of Green Lions to celebrate a decade of Guernsey FC, in a 2-2 draw.
Everyone at the football club extends its deepest condolences to Scott's family and friends at this difficult time.
