Guernsey can have another say in what is shaping up to be a cracking Isthmian South Central play-off race on Saturday when they visit Hayes & Yeading United for the first time.

Hayes & Yeading sit one place outside the play-offs on goal difference and have achieved some impressive results recently, taking points of Kingstonian and Raynes Park Vale as well as wins over Hartley Wintney and Moneyfields. They are on a 10-match unbeaten run in the league overall. Adrian Clifton is their man to watch, with 19 goals to his name this season.

The Green Lions have good numbers to choose from, including the returns of Sam Murray, Niall Hainsworth, Tom Vaudin, Simon Arnold and Dave Merris. Charlton Gauvain may be given a rest amidst a busy schedule. Matt Loaring is still awaiting his return from injury.

Hayes are looking for an immediate return to Step Three having been relegated from the Southern League Premier Division South. Owen Wallbridge scored the opening goal in the return fixture in November, but the West London side left Footes Lane with the points with goals either side of half time, one from the penalty spot.

Guernsey fans visiting the SkyEx community stadium may recognise it from television fame, as it is used as the training base and office for the fictional AFC Richmond in the Apple TV show, Ted Lasso.

Saturday's game kicks off at 2pm.
