Heidi Dawber
Defender
Heidi has been playing football since the age of five. She started at Rangers then moved to Vale Rex where she played up to U16 level when she received terrible luck in breaking her leg.
Heidi broke into the GFC women’s squad following her recovery and made her debut in a Combined Counties Cup tie at Carshalton Athletic, where she unfortunate suffered another awful setback by breaking the same leg.
She has now returned to the sport she loves and is keen to impress. She is really happy to be back playing and part of the women’s team.
Heidi enjoys being the playmaker in centre-midfield and her communication along with her vision is key. She is adaptable and will play where needed. She is building confidence with every game and is keen to push on to gain more valuable minutes on the pitch.
