Katie Robert
Coaching Staff
Katie has been involved with football since the age of five. Along with future GFCW manager Anna Gauvain, many Sautrdays were spent at minis football before having a kickabout while her Dad was playing in the Priaulx League on the adjacent pitch.
As a player, Katie developed from a quick forward/winger into a central midfielder, which really enhanced her knowledge of the game. She went on to represent Guernsey in Murattis and at the Islands Games.
Katie has been coaching for about eight years at minis and youth level, and was delighted to be asked to join the coaching team for the Green Lionesses and challenge herself with a fantastic group of players. As a coach, Katie prides herself in building relationships and adapting her coaching style to get the best out of each player.
Katie played a few games for the Green Lionsesses over their first two seasons, scoring her one and only goal in her final appearance before announcing her retirement from playing.
