Kieran Mahon

Kieran left Guernsey at 16 to become the first Channel Islands player to join the Football CV Academy in Northampton.

It was during his time there that 'Kez' was not only named the Academy player of the year but he also earned the accoldate of being the first ever player to graduate from the academy as a full time professional when Northampton Town signed him in 2008.

Kieran is a regular for the island's representative side, making his debut at the Island Games in the Isle of Wight, where he impressed throughout. He was also part of the squad that won gold in Jersey in 2015, scoring in the final - a 3-0 win over the Isle of Man.

Suffered a horrible dislocated shoulder in December 2014 and although he has played local Priaulx League football in Guernsey for Rovers since as he bids so regain full match fitness, the injury has plagued him ever since and he did not make an appearance for the Green Lions in 2015-16.
