Having loyally plied his trade for Northerners in the Priaulx League for several years, Murray began training with the Green Lions for the 2022-23 campaign. Netted 11 times in his debut campaign becoming the first player in a decade to hit double figures in his debut season.
Physically strong and a threat in the air, it didn’t take him long to become a key player for Guernsey, and he was duly voted Players’ Player of the Season. Shot up the goal rankings and scored his 30th for the club in the spring of 2025, making him one of the few players to have hit double figures in each of their first three seasons.
Sam will wear the #9 shirt for the 2025-26 season.
