Tom Dodds
Defender
Midfielder renowned for his ability to break up play, and a very reliable deputy across the back line too.
Made his debut aged 17 in the 2016-17 campaign. His debut came in an FA Cup replay at Thamesmead Town where he played the entire match, including extra-time, and was hugely impressive.
He soon cemented his place as a regular started in the heart of midfield despite his age, going on to make 41 appearance, and his outstanding performances earned him five awards at the club’s 2016-17 end-of-season gala – including Supporters’ Player-of-the-Year, Young Player-of-the-Year, Coaches’ Player-of-the-Year, Players’ Player-of-the-Year and Goal-of-the-Season.
Spent much of the 2018-19 season at full-back but that only highlighted his versatility. He is now in the top six all-time appearance holders for the club, and has more recently found a role as a centre-back.
Tom will wear the #4 shirt for the 2025-26 season.
