Tony Vance
Coaching Staff
Prior to the creation of Guernsey FC, Tony was the Guernsey FA’s representative Manager from 2008, successfully managing the side to the FA National League Systems Cup title and with that earning the prize of representing England in the UEFA Regions Cup in Croatia.
Tony & his Coaching Staff competed in the International Island Games, where they fought their way to the final and a Silver Medal.
As a player, Tony was a Manchester United trialist in his youth and also had a spell playing for Wycombe Wanderers and Enfield in his early 20’s before returning to Guernsey, where he enjoyed a very successful playing career as a striker winning a record-equalling number of league titles with his club. He has represented Guernsey as a player numerous times, earning 19 ‘Muratti’ caps and appearing in six international Island Games tournaments, winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
Vastly experienced and one of the new breed of innovative coaches. He has now led the Green Lions since our formation in 2011.
